lost files

I erased all my iCloud files form my laptop. I emptied all the files from the trash. It was a mistake. Can I get them back from Apple iCloud? Does Apple back up my iCloud?

Go to iCloud.com>sign in>account settings>in the bottom left you should see some recovery options.
