why does apple rejects my u s issued credit cards for use is Jordan

I am a u s citizen living in jordan

when I try to purchase storage memory for my icloud

apple rejects my u s credit cards saying I cannot use this card in jordan

this happened on amx and visa.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.5

Card regions must match the Apple ID region. (USA Card - USA Apple ID = 👍🏼, USA Card - Jordan Apple ID = 🚫)
