iPhone dies with better. Won’t turn back in without being plugged in.

My iPhone has been turning off (dying) and not turning back on unless it is plugged into a charger. It then comes on and says the original better percentage. First time it did it at 30% but kept happening with different battery percentages. Has happened 4 times in one day.

But at around 60 or 70 % the phone will die and the Apple logo will pop up as if I restarted the phone. The phone may turn back on by itself but when it turns back on it's at 10% and the battery proceeds to drain very fast, if I wee I take my eyes off for a minute or two it'll already be at 8%. Then it'll die once again and I'll press the power button to try to turn it back on but it'll show the logo saying it's completely dead but once I plug it into a power source the Apple logo will pop up again and when the phone turns back on it's at the 60-70 % it originally died on in the first place. Iphone 12 pro max won't turn on after sudden turn off I am writing to report an issue with my iPhone. Recently, my phone suddenly died out of nowhere and I have been unable to turn it back on since. I attempted to force restart it by pressing the power and home buttons, but it did not work. I should note that prior to the incident, the battery capacity was at 100%. This leads me to believe that the problem may not be related to the battery. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Please advise me on what steps I can take to get my phone back up and running as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

It may be time to replace your battery.

Batteries degrade over time with usage, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

It may be a faulty battery. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.
