iPhone 12 dies at 60-70 %

Phone dies at 60-70 %

I'll fully charge my phone the night before and go on with my day. But at around 60 or 70 % the phone will die and the Apple logo will pop up as if I restarted the phone. The phone may turn back on by itself but when it turns back on it's at 10% and the battery proceeds to drain very fast, if I wee I take my eyes off for a minute or two it'll already be at 8%. Then it'll die once again and I'll press the power button to try to turn it back on but it'll show the logo saying it's completely dead but once I plug it into a power source the Apple logo will pop up again and when the phone turns back on it's at the 60-70 % it originally died on in the first place.

Your battery may be at the end of its life.

Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone.

This is an approximation, that is why it may be plus or minus a few percent on a month to month basis.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.
