Does Apple have videos online on how to use iMovie

I am having a devil of a time putting together an iMovie project. Are there online videos from Apple for me to use? I've tried YouTube videos and the few that I've seen are not effective. Can I use this community to help me blend pictures with a song into a simple, simple iMovie?

Why Did Apple Create iMovie When There is no Way to Add Video? I am using Ventura on my MacBook Air. I opened up iMovie. Under libraries I can see Photos. I dragged a movie clip from Photos to the Time line and it only shows a still image when I play it. But the music track below it plays. Is iMovie not editing video? What am I missing?

Editing a Magic Movie in iMovie I’ve used iMovie to create videos successfully, and today chose to use Magic Movie for my latest project (including over 100 media items) while editing on my iPad. I now realise there are more limited functions in Magic Movie. Is there a way I can convert it to a regular format project so I can do things like add Ken Burns effects on photos, add different coloured background slides for text etc. I’ve uploaded so many media clips I don’t want to have to start all over again! Downloading from iCloud takes so long for such a large project! thanks in advance

It's a start...... I'm realizing that I've gotten into deeper waters than I realized.

Will take everything one step at a time. Don't want to overdo anything and put the pressure on me.

They have free virtual classes called Today at Apple on the www.Apple.com website. Check them out
