Missing fixed position volume controls on iPad Mini(6) and Air

On every device, we're used to press button closest to corner to increase volume and press other button to reduce, until some crazy Apple designer changed it with orientation and also removed the option to enable fixed volume button option on CERTAIN MODELS of iPad!! It's so annoying as we always increase volume placing finger near corner! If someone likes to switch those buttons with orientation, it's fine. But why did Apple remove that option to use fixed buttons!!? Seems ridiculous to me.

Dynamic volume controls were introduced with release of iPadOS 15.4 onwards. For reasons known only to Apple, the ability to either enable or disable this feature is not available for the iPad Air5 and iPad mini6.
