Moving Files and Data to New User Account

I have changed my surname and have a new email account. I have created a new User Account in my new name as an Admin. I want to move or have accessible under my new User Account all files, folders, data etc that are under my old User Account name. How do I achieve this, please?

I have created a Apple ID under my new name, but will also be retaining my old Apple ID.

Transferring Data Between Users:

Back up your Mac, and then use Migration Assistant to migrate all items necessary. Note that as of the date of this reply, purchases cant be merged between Apple IDs.

You are welcome.

Yes. You can choose to transfer both entire file types and certain files. Of course, if you accidentally transfer something, you can always delete it. You use Spotlight Search to find the file by name.
