Moving Files and Data to New User Account I have changed my surname and have a new email account. I have created a new User Account in my new name as an Admin. I want to move or have accessible under my new User Account all files, folders, data etc that are under my old User Account name. How do I achieve this, please? switching icloud-drive storage to new computer I have just bought a new Mac laptop and activated access to my existing icloud-drive storage. I now want to inactivate access to icloud-drive storage (same account) on my old Mac laptop or, possibly, even remove my Apple ID account from my old Mac laptop. Given that I setup the icloud-drive storage on my old laptop, I am concerned that removing it may affect icloud access on my new laptop. Do I have any reason to be concerned?

Read this support article to learn how to sign in with your Apple ID on your Mac--> Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support

Activate the service that contains the files you need.
