iOS 15.6.1 Broke Car Play Connection with Honda Vehicle

My Car Play connection was broken with the recent iOS 15.6.1 update. This also looks like it happened back in the spring with another iPhone update.


I opened a support ticket and even the support rep mentioned his Car Play was broken now.


Sure wish Apple would test these updates since iOS and iPhones are closed platforms, e.g. Apple controls both completely.


Will try removing my phone in the car again, but would rather not be dealing with this again.


P.S. I have a newer car and a newer iPhone so not trying to use Car Play on old equipment.
