No. Incompatibly is the culprit.

  2. As it Reads: "The Apple USB SuperDrive is compatible with Mac models from 2008 and later that don't have a built-in optical drive."

No and never.

Super Drives are optical ( CD, DVDs, Blu-ray ) disc drives and NO iOS /iPadOS device ever supoorted these kinds of drives.

Apple supplies NO built-in drivers in either the CPU or ROM hardware and iOS/iPadOS, itself, does NOT contain any optical devicr drivers NOR is there any way to install such drivers.
