Unfortunately, we don't know what kind of device that your MacBook Pro is backing up to. Is this an AirPort Time Capsule or another type of USB hard drive?
Have you performed basic steps like........
Power off the backup device
Restart your Mac
Power the backup device back up again
Please hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the Time Machine "clock" icon at the top of the Mac's screen.
Select and run Verify Backups.
The verification check might take anywhere from 10-60 minutes or more depending on how much data is stored on the Time Capsule hard drive. Let the process run until it completes or until you see an error message appear.
If an error message appears, please post back with the exact text of the message.
You can watch the progress of the diagnostic check by clicking on the Time Machine "clock" icon and then clicking on Open Time Machine Preferences.
The error message is: Time Machine couldn’t verify your backups on “KaraHome Time Capsule 3TB” because verification was interrupted. Interruptions are usually caused by network problems. Try again after the network problems are resolved.
