Running Monterey 12.5.1 with MS Office 365. I am suddenly no longer able to Save-as pdf (error msg: The document "__.docx could not be saved as...") I am not able to print at all. Pressing Command+P does nothing, and the Print command is greyed out in the drop-down menu. (No problem printing and saving to pdf in Excel.)

Did you try quitting and restarting Word? Restarting your mac?
