my mouse is not working

My mouse is not working. Is this fixable or should I just buy a new one?

Welcome to the Apple Community.


Seems you might want to try some trouble-shooting to see if your mouse starts working.


Wondering if your mouse uses a plug-in cable, or batteries and bluetooth.


You might test the cable is working properly

or

You could try replacing the batteries. with fresh ones.


If the mouse has plenty of power, sometimes just clicking it several times, allows it to connect /move the cursor on the screen.

Or, use the cable that came with it to pair the mouse ... disconnect the cable when it is paired (see the user guide below)


You might check the bluetooth is on, .... hasn't been accidentally turned off.
