Studio Display with multiple desktop computers

Is it possible to connect 2 Mac minis (or a Mac Studio and Mac mini) to a single Studio Display and switch between the 2 desktop computers without having swap cables (unplug/plug to swap the input)?

I have a MacBook Pro and a Mac Mini that I want to use with a single apple studio display with the ability to switch from one device to the other without pulling the thunderbolt cable in and out each time. I thought this must be simple but it seems not. The display only has one input (why?). I've looked at third party KVM switches, I'm not sure which would work at all, which would give a full 5K resolution and power supply to laptop. And some of them seem crazy expensive. My second problem is that it's very awkward trying to switch the pairing of the magic keyboard and mouse between the two devices and it always seems to involve having to plug them in by USB and connect that way. Am I missing something? Is there really not a streamlined way to do this? Surely loads of Mac users must be in a similar position?

How can I connect Mac Mini and Windows Laptop to one screen? I have a Windows Laptop connected to a little hub that runs the Mouse and Keyword, as well as the Monitor on HDMI. I want to get a Mac Mini rather than a Mac itself. Considerably cheaper, and I know I will want to switch between my Windows Laptop and the Mac, keeping my trusty keyboard and Mouse. So the question is, what do I need to connect my Windows Laptop (and it's connected devices) and a Mac Mini, so I can flick a switch to go between the two on the one setup? I would assume it is one box, where I connect a USB to it from both devices, and on that device, I connect the 'hub' for the Mouse, Keyboard, Webcam and Monitor? (though the monitor might be on my Laptop). Hope someone can help.
