Why was my AirPods Pro order canceled?

I have ordered an airpods pro and the order was canceled.

May I know why my order was canceled on Aug, 23rd?

but it doesn't say too much - just canceled.

Customer Support tells me that i should have verified the billing or shipping address through email.

Is it correct?

May be, if you received email from apple in this regard you should follow that, try placing order once again and perform verification process, I hope this helps.
