What is the '3 dots' icon in top right?

Just upgraded to Monterey from El Capitan, and now learning the new features in Photos.

I click on this circular icon and nothing happens. What is it supposed to do?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.5

It gives the choice to switch between "Your photos only" and "Yours and shared." I'm not sure why it isn't working in your Mac but the same choice is available in the View menu so you should be able to do it from there.

Thanks for the reply.

In All Photos view I click on it and nothing happens.

However in Days and Months views it shows: Play Memory Video or Show Map

Maybe it's still analysing my Library since upgrading to Monterey just a few days ago...?

Sorry, I don't know why that would be. You may want to contact Apple to see if they can help. There is a Get Support link at the top right of this page.
