I just went and got a new phone and I'm trying to backup all my stuff on my old phone to be able to transfer it over. I started the backup and it is taking hours, it has not finished and is now saying that there is 21 hours remaining. What do I do to make it go faster. (I started the backup around 6pm and I am now writing this at 2:30am)

When you back up to icloud for the first time it will be long, connect your old phone to wifi, power source, lock the device and then leave it alone so it can finish backing up.
