MacBook Air keyboard not working after Monterrey OS upgrade

Just upgraded my early 2015 MacBook Air from Catalina to Monterrey. Cannot type in my password at startup ad the keyboard is not functioning.

Try resetting the SMC. It may not work if the keyboard is dead.
