All videos are lagging after update

I updates my Mac last night to -MacOS Monterey 12.5.1

Before updating my Mac all videos were working perfectly. Now every video are try to watch severely lags; the video constantly freezes while the audio keeps playing. I've been trying to watch youtube videos and programmes on Netflix.

What could be causing this?

Having trouble palying some videos I updated my mac to Monterey Version 12.7 a couple of days ago but some of the videos don't seem to work properly on it. For instance the video will lag, but the audio will be fine and then 2-3seconds later it will either pause or buffer. I thought it was a problem with some sites but then I tried other sites and the issue persisted. Even some videos on QuickTime Player is having trouble playing and the video seems to run in lag time while the audio is fine. I don't know why it is happening but I could use help. Thank you!

Incredibly slow and laggy video playback on Mac I've tried everything, but no matter what I try, video playback is incredibly laggy on every video playing website I know. YouTube, Netflix, even QuickTime player. At first, I thought it might've been a virus, and I tried an antivirus but it only made things worse. How do I fix this? It plays smoothly for a couple of seconds before it freezes, and then continues at 1 frame per 3 or 5 seconds before repeating

Open Activity Monitor in Utilities, View>All Processes, sort on CPU%, see if anything using too much CPU%.
