End gmail Photos Access to iCloud Photos:

A. Go Here: Sync your Favorite Photos with Apple Photos - Apple Support

B. To Turn Sync Off:

1. Open: Google Photos .
2. Tap: Your account profile photo (on the the top right)
3. Tap: Photos Settings .
4. Tap: Apple Photos.
5. Tap: Sync favorites 
6. Tap: Turn off sync.
