can't get my Microsoft word to open
Can't get into my word doc or update word.

Look into the Free LibreOffice, it handles MS Office files like Word & Excel, & Page Layout…

What happens when you try to open a Word document? Have you recently upgraded your computer's operating system? If so, you will have to also update Word and there likely will be a cost.
