Why does Apple Maps take me the long way?
I don’t have “Avoid Highways” set. I do have “Driving” set.

Hello Alphabrit,
When entering in the destination to the Maps app, it may show a couple routes, if available, and should note how long each may take.

We noted you mentioned not having the 'Avoid Highways' option enabled, be sure to also check if 'Avoid Tolls' is on.

From the main Maps screen
1. Tap your image next to the search field, then tap Reports.
2. Select an option like Report Street Issue or Report Place Issue.
3. Enter your information, then tap Agree.
4. Add the information for the issue, then tap Send.
