Hi Ayxn,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help.

It appears you have seen the correct information regarding iOS 15.6.1. We have no further information.

What is the indication that you received malware from the website?

Have you gone ahead and updated yet: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Updating should resolve any issues.

Have a fantastic day!

Ayxn,

Thank you for letting us know.

Just to confirm, it seems like you received a pop-up after clicking a link, is that correct? Did this pop-up appear in Safari?

If you received a pop-up in Safari, please check out the following page for the process on handling pop-up ads and windows in Safari: About pop-up ads and windows in Safari

Pop-ups can be ads, notices, offers, or alerts that open in your current browser window, in a new window, or in another tab. Some pop-ups are third-party ads that use phishing tactics—like warnings or prizes—to trick you into believing they’re from Apple or another trusted company, so you’ll share personal or financial information. Or they might claim to offer free downloads, software updates, or plugins, to try to trick you into installing unwanted software.

Unless you’re confident of an ad’s legitimacy, you should avoid interacting with pop-ups or webpages that seem to take over your screen.

Take care!
