Apple Watch SE - software update info in Chinese I have a new Apple Watch SE and have set it up to display English, with my region as UK. However, the noise app and the software update information appear as Chinese characters on my watch notifications, and also when I look at the software update on the watch app on my phone it is also in Chinese. Apple Watch App Store shows Chinese characters even though my iPhone is set to English When I use my just bought refurbished Apple Watch Ultra 2 and open the App Store, I get 2 similar graphics of apps, the top one shows Chinese characters, the second on says “New experiences on …”. When I click on the top graphic, it has a load of Chinese characters after the words watchOS 11 as follows: におすすめのアプリ新たな体験を手首の上に Everything else is in English, I only have English language setup in iPhone settings. Is this a bug, is it hacked, or something else and can it be changed?

Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
Tap My Watch, go to General/Language & Region, tap Custom, then tap Watch Language.
