My alarm went off this morning at 7:54am when it was set for 7:45am. I happened to wake up naturally around when it should have gone off and was confused why It hadn’t. Checked the clock app and it was set as normal to 7:45. Then, strangely, it did go off, just at 7:54 …
at that point I figured it was early and I just accidentally set it wrong but when I went back to triple check it’s 100% set for 7:45.
only difference is that my phone upgraded to iOS 15.6

That was my first thought but I checked snooze and wasn’t on.
The first step in troubleshooting alarms is to delete them all and create new ones. Use only the built-in alarm sounds for testing.
Millions of users who have updated to iOS 15.6 must have a similar issue. Unless you state what the issue is many in this forum may not be able to respond positively to the issue you are facing.
I have this issue too... does the alarm have a Snooze option enabled ?
I suspect the first alarm, when missed sounds again a few minutes later until "stopped" rather than snoozed.
Sounds to me like you hit the snooze. Snooze is 9 minutes…
