Changing phone number
Will changing my phone number take me out of all iMessage groupchats? I don’t want to be in a couple anymore but if I remove myself they’ll be upset. So I’d rather just do it quietly

If you change your phone number you will still be able to see the group chats on your phone but you won't be able to interact with them (see new messages or message in the chat) anymore.
