Severe eye strain on Mac retina displays and latest Apple products

I've seen some people ask about this, but I haven't seen any satisfactory answers on why it occurs and what possible solutions there are.


3 minutes of using the retina display (and looking at any iPhone since the 6 model) and i get heavy eyes, headache, nausea etc, and this lasts for a few hours after looking away too - also happens when I use any newer phone from a different manufacturer too.


Conversely, I can look at my iPhone 6 and Macbook 2012 no problem.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

This sounds like a medical issue... I would consult a doctor.
