MacOS Application windows jump locations

When clicking from an active application window to another that is not the current active window the window your clicking two moves to a completely different location on the screen.

Double clicks when I just want single click So I just moved over to a new Mac Studio with Ventura 13.2.1. I'm getting double-click behavior *sometimes* when all I want is a single click. I have slowed the double click speed down to its slowest setting (slider at leftmost) in settings->accessibility->pointer control, and I have the same issue whether I'm using an Apple Magic Mouse or a Kensington wired trackball (so I know it's not the device). Super annoying; I'll click on a file to get some info about it and it starts to open, or I'll single click on some parameter to modify and it'll act like I double clicked it. Any thoughts about what else I can try? TIA! rich

Switch between the apps on first click fails I have a problem with switching between the apps. After a certain IDLE time (I think so - just a guess - because it happens sporadically) the app doesn't open with a click. See video on first second, i click on the app "phpstorm" but i opens any minimized windows. The app only opens after a further click. The first time I click, I usually end up on a blank page/blank space. The funny thing is, after that everything works normally again, I can switch between apps with one click. Inconsistent behavior of multiple windows switching simultaneously Is the inconsistent behavior of multiple windows switching simultaneously on both screens a known issue in Mac OS 13.1 or is it normal behavior? I have a setup with multiple screens and I'm facing an issue where I open two windows of different applications, one per screen, for a total of four windows. For instance, I open a Safari and Excel window on screen 1 and do the same on screen 2. If both screens have the Safari window active and I switch to Excel on screen 1, the Safari window on screen 1 is replaced by the Excel window while screen 2 still displays the Safari window. But, this behavior is not consistent as sometimes switching to Excel on one screen activates both screens to display the Excel window. Is this a known bug in Mac OS 13.1 or expected behavior?

Hi ujayank,

We understand you have an issue with selecting apps when multiple applications are opened. Are you noticing this behavior with all apps or a certain few? Does any applications move to your dock after selecting a new one? Any additional details or screen capture will be helpful.

Does restarting your Mac correct the issue? Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

Hi, I have the same issue and the problem effects multiple applications. Even a restart / update does not fix it.
