Changing regions from HK to India

I have balance in iTunes account I opened in HK but can’t deplete it from India. Apple wallet also has balance that in no way I can use from India. I want to subscribe to various media in India but this balance prevents me from purchasing in local Indian currency. Apple should have an option for this irritating issue in their regular updates so that users can somehow deplete their credit balances to enable themselves to purchase locally. Like: converting currency; donating, or even totally giving it up voluntarily. I have suffered from this terrible issue for the past three years, and am waiting for solutions that might never come.

Depending on the amount,

If your balance is less than the cost of a single item, contact Apple Support.

2.

If you have Apple ID balance you can't use.

You can't redeem or return Apple Gift Cards, App Store & iTunes Gift Cards or unused Apple ID balance for cash, except as required by law. If your jurisdiction allows the refund of redeemed gift balances, you can contact Apple Support to request a refund.

When you contact Apple, include the following information:

• Your Apple ID.

• The refund amount.

• Your current delivery address.

What do you mean with 'Apple Wallet balance' ?

Thought it is Apple ID balance, that what you can use in India.

Thanks for your help and suggestions re my issue. Yes I read the support instructions and understand it, and follow through with it, except that I don’t know how I may be able to spend my Apple Wallet balance while now I’m in India. I didn’t want to go back to HK after Covid crisis during which I got time to think about my future; therefore what I’m hoping Apple would allow me to do is for my Apple Wallet balance to be transferred to my iTunes Store account so that from there I can easily use it to purchase games & apps to its depletion to enable me to change regions.

Apple Wallet is an app that can be used in HK for goods purchases at shops via scan-to-pay system. Akin to mobile banking app that uses QR Code scanning. As you can see, user needs physical presence to use it.
