Why won’t my AirPod Pro case not charge my AirPods?

Why won’t my airpod pro case not charge my AirPods or even light up (even though their 100% charged) unless I plug them in.

Why won’t my AirPod case charge? My AirPod case isn’t charging. It is staying at 0% and there is no lightning bolt symbol on it when connected to a charger. However the AirPods themselves charge when in the case if the case is connected to a charger. I tried resetting them but have seen no improvement.

airpod case won't charge AirPods case won't charge, but AirPods are charged. When I try to charge just the case is keeps dinging and loosing more charge.
