Dell monitor

I just bought the new 2022 MacBook Air, and it does not seem to be

compatible with the Dell Ultrasharp (U2721DE) monitor that I bought just

a couple years ago. Dell's website does not list any drivers for Mac

OS (only Windows) for this model monitor. Does this mean that my high

end monitor is now just a very expensive paper weight? Are there any

workarounds? (I've been using this monitor fine with my old MacBook Air,

2015 model).

Well, you might want to read this: https://www.dell.com/community/Monitors/U4320Q-DDM-not-working-2021-Mac-Pro-2018-mac/td-p/8147791

Not the same monitor, but it may apply. I suggest you contact Dell.

If it won't work, this is not the first device a developer has decided not to provide support for Monterey. It's the developer's responsibility to make their products work with Apple OS. But, Dell may have a solution.
