Unable to upload videos on Line app recently. Secondly, how to grant YouTube permission to access my videos in photo gallery?

I have 2 questions.

Recently I’ve not been able to share videos on Line app, probably after installing ios15.6. There is 50% available space on my device, so space is not the cause. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Also, I created a YouTube channel and it requires access to my photos and videos. Under Settings, the app doesn’t show up for me to grant permission. I’ve already allowed changes to Photos under Privacy setting, and force started the device numerous times to no avail. How do I grant permission? I tried an alternate method of uploading from Photos Gallery instead of YouTube app, but YouTube isn’t listed as an option for me to share with. Please help!

For help with granting third-party apps access to your photos, test the steps below found in the article here: Control access to information in apps on iPad - Apple Support

"Review or change access to information in apps

The first time an app wants to use information from another app, you receive a request with an explanation. For example, a messaging app may request access to your contacts to find friends who are using the same app. After you grant or deny access, you can change access later.

Go to Settings > Privacy.
Tap a category of information, such as Calendars, Reminders, or Motion & Fitness.

The list shows the apps that requested access. You can turn access on or off for any app on the list."

If the issue remains, delete and reinstall the app. Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Hi OrigamiFan1,

Thank you so much for your response and links, really appreciate it. The first step on controlling access to information didn’t resolve my problem as YouTube app didn’t appear there.

Regarding the second recommendation, I have pretty tight privacy controls in place and after much deliberation, decided not to mess with the settings for now, even if it means I can’t upload videos to YouTube or Line. It’s not a commercial channel anyway, had intended to upload videos for some of my game alliance members only.
