Apps not showing in Apple Watch app

After setting my Apple Watch I noticed that many apps in my iPhone (Whatsapp, Instagram, etc) that have watch apps aren't showing in the Watch app hence I can't receive notifications for them on my Apple watch. I tried uninstalling some of the apps from the iPhone and reinstalling them, but they still didn't show in the Watch app. OS on both iphone and watch have latest versions and I have also tried unpairing and pairing again.

I noticed a similar forum was raised on this same issue, has anyone managed to solve this yet?

Hi there, datboy_fiifi.

Some apps developed for the iPhone aren't available on the Apple Watch as an app, but some apps (but not all) you can still receive notifications for. You can see which apps allow notifications on the Apple Watch by opening the Watch app on your iPhone > select the My Watch tab if its not already selected > Notifications > then scroll down to the "Mirror iPhone alerts from" section.

If needed, you can see how to download apps available for Apple Watch here: Download apps on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

We hope that helps.

Take care!
