Keyboard back light on M2 MacBook Air

Hi… I am migrating my files and apps to my new MacBook Air m2 from MacBook Pro. Taking a long time so I want to know is there a way to turn off or dim the keyboard light.

NOTE: I am at the beginning process so can’t get to preferences etc. my old MacBook Pro could do this with a key on the keyboard.
