Turn Off Automatic 'Games' Folder Creation

It's very frustrating whenever I download a new game, Launchpad auto-sorts my applications into a 'Games' Folder every time, despite dragging the games out of this folder back into the organization system I've set within Launchpad.

I saw another comment/reply that said this was an automatic and unchangeable feature within Mac OS. Is there any way for users to request this feature be removed or at least made optional in a future update?

It's just really disruptive.
