How do I find my hidden Contacts on my iPhone?

I've not lost contacts. But until recently had not added many. And older

devices seem to collect some via Cloud. Even 'wi-fi only' iPad did that.

Any ones missing from main iDevice, may have been saved from loss

~ IF other devices were not set to automatically get iCloud updates.
