Problem sorting photos in a shared album

How do I sort photos in a shared album on my mac by oldest first, instead of oldest by date added? Oldest by date added is the only choice in a shared album and I would like to sort the photos by the actual date.

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

Does anybody know how to change order/sort shared albums in Photos (Macintosh)? Does anybody know how to change order/sort shared albums in Photos (Macintosh)? I can easily change order of myalbums by right-clicking them but this method doesn't exist for shared albums.

Sorting Photos Manually in a Shared Album How do you sort photos manually? Help says, "Rearrange photos manually: Drag the photos into the order you want." But that doesn't work; they won't move. The only option I have is "Sort" on the "View" tab, where the options are either sorting by date added, or by age (oldest or newest). Running Ventura, 13.3.1(a)

For shared albums, you can only sort by date taken in Monterey or later. Earlier versions can only sort by date added to the album.

Try creating the smart album with the rule Date Created > is after > (specify date). Then sort by oldest first. Will that solve it?
