Does connecting an external display cause overheating issues with m1 macbook air?

Hello there,

I have a m1 mba 8/256 and I'd like to connect my mba with my dell S2216H using a usb c hub. But, I am worried about my m1 mba to get overheating issues or get bricked by just using the usb c hubs. I have seen some reviews where people are having these similar issues.

Kindly help me with this problem. Also please suggest me a good usb c hub for my m1 mba which won't cause any overheating issues.

I don't use external monitors preferring to have a desktop if I need a larger screen.

But, there are numerous posts on this very community of that happening. When the Mac works hard, and that includes the graphics card, it'll heat up to some extent. Some times more than others.
