Putting Apple Music downloads on an iPod shuffle

Can I put songs I download from Apple Music (I pay for a subscription) onto a 2nd gen iPod shuffle? When I try it tells me to connect to iCloud Drive. But I can’t do that from a shuffle. And when I try to go in through finder like some of the support pages say, there are not options there to sync music.
