WHY does Maps use YELLOW TEXT on light grey background in Directions??
I can't even read it! This is a _HORRIBLE Design decision_. I looked for a way to change it but coudn't find one.
Try setting SystemPreferences>General>Appearance to Dark and uncheck Map>Preferences>General 'Always use light map appearance'.

It was the Accent color, set to yellow. Thanks.
I wanted _highlighter_ to be yellow.
I find that setting rather confusing since it was text color.
I set the Accent color to dark blue (for text!?) and a separate highlite color to yellow.
