Iphone 12 will not connect to WIFI

I just updated to 15.6. Since then, I have noticed my WIFI icon is not displayed and my phone is operating very slowly. I have reset my iphone, reset my wifi and modem (both motorola), and I have disconnected and joined my WIFI on the phone.

the weird thing: under Settings/WiFI, my phones shows that I am connected, but with "Weak Secuirty". I understand the Weak Security issue and I am not looking to resolve it with this question, unless the two go hand and hand.
