MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) Iphone continuously connects/disconnects

My Iphone 12 pro when plugged into my any USB on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015), continuously connects and disconnects. It makes backing up my phone on my laptop impossible and unable to download any photos. Currently running the most up to date Os Monterey 12.5 and one update behind in Iphone IOS. I've tried to find the usbd in the activity monitor to force quit, but when searched it didn't show up. PLEASE HELP!!!

Try another cable. If it still disconnects try to connect another iDevice, then try another USB port or another computer. (Do not use USB hub)

Eventually you will work out which connection is faulty.

If it is the iPhone lightning port, arrange a repair
