If we understand your post correctly, you're getting a verification code but when you put in the verification code it says that it isn't valid. We'd like to help!


Let's check the date and time on your phone to ensure they are correct. Not being correct would cause the verification code to not be valid.

Settings > Date & Time.


If the date and time is correct, let's try getting a verification code a different way. The article you came from, Get a verification code and sign in with two-factor authentication, will provide you with others way to receive a verification code.


Get a text or phone call
If you don’t have a trusted device handy, you can have a verification code sent to your trusted phone number as a text message or phone call.
Click Didn't get a verification code on the sign in screen.
Choose to have the code sent to your trusted phone number.
You'll get a text message or phone call from Apple with your verification code. This text message might include an additional domain validation line. This line includes the @ symbol, the website name, and your code (for example: @icloud.com #123456 %apple.com).
Receive a text message with your verification code and a domain validation line
Enter the code on your other device to complete sign in.

Get a code from Settings on your trusted device
If you can’t receive a verification code on your trusted devices automatically, you can get one from Settings, even if your device is offline.
From your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If your device is online:
Go to Settings > [your name].
Tap Password & Security > Get Verification Code.

A message says "Account Details Unavailable." Tap Get Verification Code.

While I was able to do it by saying “didn’t get verification code, and having not text me and I guess it automatically entered it through text without me moving a muscle (it happened so quick didn’t have me input or touch anything) the problem is there’s some type of bug with the system. The code it first sends to you on… not sure what it is, not text, email, or phone call, just a white screen that pops up, does not work, no matter what or how many times. It is not a time zone issue or anything it’s yalls system right now. Just letting you know.
