MacBook Pro random tab selection

Hello,

my MacBook has had this issue recently where it randomly selects certain windows or buttons as if I used the tab selection. The button or window is then surrounded by this blue rectangle.

Anybody got any ideas why this might be happening and some sort of fix for it?
