Apple tv cutting to black on youtube AD's

I'm experiencing a pretty weird issue with my 4k apple tv. All playback is fine and works as expected unless I'm watching a youtube video and an AD plays. After a few seconds of the AD playing the TV cuts to complete back for a couple of seconds then the AD cuts back in, sometimes it will do this multiple times throughout a single AD. It's not a huge issue but is very irritating. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas on possible solutions?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're experiencing video issues when streaming from a specific third-party app. If so, we'd like to help out. First, you can try to force close the YouTube app and restart your Apple TV:

1.) Force close app: Press the TV button on your Siri Remote twice quickly, then swipe up on YouTube app to close

2.) Restart Apple TV: Restart Apple TV - Apple Support

If that doesn't help you, try uninstalling and reinstalling the YouTube app: Customize the Apple TV Home Screen - Apple Support
