messages sent on iphone not showing up on MacBook Air

then when I go to messages on MacBookAir to enter a reply to the test on my phone, it keeps not sending

Have you forwarded messages to your Mac? The setting is on your iPhone.

Have you forwarded messages to your Mac? The setting is on your iPhone.
