Phone keeps suggesting old email address.
I have followed your suggestion [Settings—Mail—Accounts—delete old email. THEN select new default email]. I have done this multiple times over the last 3 months. Still doesn’t work.

Thanks for the post. It sounds like you're running into some issues with email settings, and we'd like to get more information about what's happening.
Which iPadOS version are you using?
Also, can you let us know where you're seeing the old email address as a suggestion? Is it in the Mail app when you take a specific action, in Safari, or somewhere else?
If the steps you mentioned didn't help, try opening the Contacts app, and then search for your contact card. You'll see it with the identifier "me" on the right-hand side. Then, tap it and see if the old email address is appearing here. If it is, you can tap Edit in the top right to remove it and see if that helps.
If this doesn't help, let us know more about what's happening, and we'll go from there.
