I can't authorize my Mac to add the iTunes song on my phone
Manually syncing the music on my laptop with my phone and have repeatedly authorized the computer but it refuses to add the song to my phone. ***?

I'll do the best I can … in the future , your devices model & version numbers would be a good idea . , (and any other info you can share) .
In this case , I find it confusing that " Apple Music" could be the Music App , or the
subscription .
Add the song : download from the iTunes Store to your device ☁️with ⬇️ on it Airdrop it ( to a nearby device)

How to authorize your Mac :
Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app. In the menu bar, choose Account and make sure that you're signed in with your Apple ID :
Choose Account > Authorizations, then choose Authorize This Computer or Deauthorize This Computer.
Sign in with your Apple ID and password
Click Authorize or Deauthorize.
See how many computers are authorized :
Open the Apple Music app or Apple TV app.
Choose Account > Account Settings.
Sign in with your Apple ID and password
At the top of your Account Information page, look next to Computer Authorizations to see how many computers are authorized.
If you need to deauthorize a computer that you don't have access to :
To deauthorize a computer that you don't have access to, you have to deauthorize all of your computers. Then authorize each computer that you have again. You can deauthorize all computers only once a year.

At the top of your Account Information page, go to the Apple ID Summary section.
Next to Computer Authorizations, click Deauthorize All.
