Can I migrate from my iCloud account to my new MacBook Pro?

I received my new 16" MacBook Pro yesterday and have been trying to migrate from my old machine but can't seem to get it done. I'm wondering if I can migrate from my iCloud account to my new computer?

By signing into your new MacBook Pro with the same Apple ID, whatever data you synced with iCloud can certainly sync to your new MacBook Pro. But that is not the same as moving all your data from a previous MacBook Pro to a new MacBook Pro.

The fastest method to move data from one machine to another is to move your Time Machine Backup to the new MacBook Pro. Surely, you've been backing up to Time Machine? There is a link in the related article link, which brought you here about how to do just that.
