Safari Tabs Closes Automatically

Why is it my Safari Tabs closes automatically while my settings shows manually. It seems to have started my last update on iOS 15.5.

what am I doing wrong or is there a bug in the last update to iOS?

Safari not working My ipad9 Safari defaults to Google. Cannot use Safari at all. I have moved it back to Home Screen and still doesn’t work. I have Version 16.5

I should add: it doesn’t affect the Tab Groups I’ve created just the non named group for searching. I hope that helps. Thanks
